The Krakens are celebrating after securing the National Plate at Murrayfield Hive.

They put a misfiring start behind them to defeat Uddingston Selkies 47-27.

Full-back Caitlin Harvey scored a hat-trick of tries in a player-of-the-match winning performance.

The Selkies raced to a 12-point lead after 10 minutes. But the Krakens recovered to lead 33-27 at the interval

The game was in the balance until number eight Emmy Smith scored the decisive touchdown with seven minutes left.
